GROWTH
1. Turning Book Sales into Newsletter Growth (My Exact Automation Setup)
My Leadership 80/20 newsletter subscribers grew organically in the span of 4 weeks using a simple strategym

Here are some stats:
New subs: +296
Unsubs: -147
Net subs: +149
Total subs as of today: 17,200+
The majority of new subscribers (~85%) came from my books and courses
How it works
Someone buys a book or course
I offer a free bonus + free newsletter subscription in exchange for an email address
Those interested get directed to a LeadPages landing page
If they signup, they get the bonus delivered directly
They also get automatically get subscribed to my newsletter (hosted on Beehiiv) using a zap via Zapier (a simple automation linking the Leadpages form with my Beehiiv newsletter)
Throughout this whole process, I'm 100% transparent about what readers are getting (e.g. a free 5-min weekly email) and even encourage them to unsubscribe immediately if they just want the bonus.
This strategy is working so well that I've decreased the price of my books to "get paid" for new subscribers.

TACTICAL MARKETING
After reducing the price of some of my books (see the entry above for why), I noticed a new “Best Price in 30 Days” banner appeared next to those books on Amazon

I’m not sure if there’s a threshold for the difference between the original price drop and the new price to get this banner to show up next to your book.
For context, my books were originally priced between $4.99 and $7.99, and I reduced them down to $2.99, so I’m guessing it doesn’t have to be a significant drop.
The results were pretty good. Nearly every one of those books below has seen an increase in sales since the price reduction, so I guess the banner does have some effect.

4. A Quick Side Gig Hack You Can Apply Today
Speaking of Alex Hormozi, I I learned a great tip from him a while ago and thought I’d share it again.
He recommends you write a simple email to your leads with the following format:
"Are you still looking to [achieve specific goal]?"
That's it. Don’t add a fancy intro or any pitches.
Some examples he gives are:
"Are you still looking to lose those last 20 pounds?"
"Are you still trying to hire senior developers?"
I tried it by emailed folks who haven’t engaged in a while if they’re still interested in writing a book and got replies from many who never responded before (and made a couple of sales).
So it works!
