1. I Launched a New Book!
I officially launched a new book today called “AI Change Management Made Simple.”
I’ll share a few lessons in this newsletter (and in a few upcoming ones) about strategies I used for this launch.
The main takeaway for today is simple. I keep publishing books because they work as business cards on steroids. They open doors, start conversations, and build trust.
With each launch, my priority is reach. I want to get the book into as many hands as possible, with minimal friction.
So I list it at the lowest price Amazon allows, $0.99.

2. Proof First Then Publish
I always order a paperback proof copy before the official launch.
This book was no exception.
Good thing I did. I spotted an issue in the first version. The font was way too small.

MARKETING STRATEGY
With every new book launch on Amazon, I do the following:
I sign up to KDP Select
I ask folks who are interested in an early review copy to sign up using a Google Form
I release the book secretly
I then select my 4 out of 5 free promo days
I email early reviewers to download their copy during that time
This is exactly what I did with AI Change Management Made Simple, and it helps me get verified reviews for free (i.e. reviewers don’t have to pay for the book).

5. A Quick Side Gig Hack You Can Apply Today
Publish shorter books.
One benefit you gain is that Amazon automatically lists your book in new categories.
For example, I didn't select this "short reads" category.
But the book got listed as a #1 New Release under it.
Which increases exposure (i.e. more sales).
