THE BIG PICTURE
1. How to Sell On Twitter/ X
The following post on Twitter/ X a great example of a solid pitch to ask if people would like to work with you.
Big announcement
I've got a new product to announce:
Me.
I want to help you build the next great brand on here.
And I can only work with a couple people at a time.
I know how to actually build brands by writing online.
It takes obsession
I've built 5 accounts to 100k

The offer has:
Great social proof (built 5 accounts to 100K followers)
Clear value (build your brand by writing online)
Clear pricing structure ($4K/ month for 3 months)
Clear selection criteria (ideal client ‘must-haves’)
Scarcity (can work with a few people which incentivizes action)
Specific call to action (DM to discuss)
P.S. I don’t know Charlie Light and have no financial incentive sharing this. I just thought it was a great example of a sales pitch that you can use for your own services because it was quite convincing to me.

MARKETING
2. Two Simple Strategies to Market a Book
I launched a new book a couple of weeks ago.
Here are two strategies I use to help market it.
Strategy 1: Add the book to my portfolio
I have a page called “My Books” on my blog.
So whenever I publish a new book:
I turn the 2D cover into a 3D image (using a tool called BoxShotKing)
I add the book to my LeadPages landing page
I use an Amazon affiliate link to the book (so I can track sales)
This increases exposure to my books to random people who are just browsing around.
Click on the video below to watch a quick walk-through of how I do this👇
One advantage of publishing on Amazon is that you get a discount on author copies
You can then:
Resell them at a higher price
Send some as gifts
Use them in upsells
For example, I recently gave a talk at an organization, and instead of a discount, I offered to give 50 copies to their employees, which helps me further market my book.

ONE-MINUTE HACKS
5. A Quick Side Gig Hack You Can Apply Today
Sell before you build.
Create a simple landing page that explains your product idea.
Then share it with your audience or online communities.
If people sign up or pre-order, you’ve validated demand (before spending hours creating).
I literally do this with every product
(If you’d like to know exactly how to do this, and ask me any question you want, I’m running an exclusive, small-group webinar next Thursday)
